We all have been to the beach, sitting in the sand, looking at the sea, seeing the waves and just thinking, some day am I going to surf or I would die without even try. We believe you have to try at least once, as we believe you must do skydiving once. There are people who are afraid of heights and some are afraid of the sea, we know the sea can be pretty scary. Most of the people when they see the sea, they think about how enormous it is, it looks like it is infinite and how deep, and how many animals and maybe strange things we don’t even know are down there. But if you are not that afraid of the sea and are willing to try surf at least one time, you should check this tips.
You need to know that practicing surf requires a high level of physical effort. The two main important exercises to begin are rowing and to stand up. These two actions will let you go inside and outside of the wave. Then, you need to study the wave, the parts of the wave because you need to know in which part you are entering the wave. Also, you need to know the types of waves depending on the form and size, this is important for beginners, it is the same as skiing when you are on a mountain doing ski, you need to watch out and don’t get confused and end it up entering a black ski slope.
You need to also decide which type of surfer you want to be depending on how you defend yourself in front of the wave. You can be a
- front side
- back side
This is really similar to street skate.
As you can see surfing is not just being in the top of the table, you need to study and practice first techniques and postures outside of the sea.
